Support from one stepmom to another

Hi, I’m Lisa Teal-Webb.

I’ve been on my stepmom journey for nearly 16 years. Through it all, there have been some bumpy seasons and maybe just a *few* missteps, which have allowed me to learn some valuable life lessons: the ability to pick myself up again and continue to keep moving forward.

The often crazy stepmom journey is not a sprint; it is more like a demanding marathon, often requiring one baby step at a time.

My desire is to show empathy to every stepmom’s unique journey. I am passionate about helping others navigate the often chaotic role of being a stepmom, whether it’s interaction with the other biological parent, developing a relationship with a step child, or building a cohesive team made up of all the parents in order to benefit the child(ren) and allow them to succeed.

Buckeye Bonusmom was birthed in 2009 to be a positive and uplifting stepmom support group, both online and in-person, that offers comfort, encouragement, solidarity, and useful tools to aid both brand new and seasoned stepmoms. The compassion, advice and resources I share are based upon my own experiences, as well as the experiences of many incredible stepmoms I have met in the group over the past decade.

I will soon be releasing a Stepmom Survival Kit that offers valuable resources and a little self-pampering to stepmoms on a monthly basis. Stay tuned!
